Summary

Valutix is an offline-first currency converter for Romanian leu rates. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All app data lives on your device. The only network request the app makes is an anonymous fetch of public exchange rates from the National Bank of Romania.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any account credentials.
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location.
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry.
• Contacts, photos, or any other content from your device.

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored locally in the app's private sandbox and never leaves your device:

• Historical and recent exchange rates published by the National Bank of Romania.
• Your favorite currencies, base currency selection, and language preference.
• Recent conversions you save inside the app.
• Rate alerts you create.

Uninstalling the app removes all of this data. The app has no cloud sync and no account system.

Network access

Valutix makes anonymous HTTPS requests to a single endpoint to keep exchange rates current:

• https://curs.bnr.ro/files/xml/years/nbrfxrates<year>.xml

These requests contain only the standard headers your operating system sends with any HTTPS request. No identifiers, no account, no tracking. The server returns a public XML file of reference exchange rates.

Notifications

If you create rate alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device when an alert condition is met. Notification content stays on the device — nothing is sent to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Children's privacy

Valutix does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
